Reporting to the Global Lead, Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS), you will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS programs across AGCO’s North American operations. Your role will focus on enhancing compliance, improving EHS & Sustainability performance, developing talent, and driving continuous improvement across North American operations.
As the Regional Lead, EHS, and as a key member of the Global EHS Leadership team, you will provide strategic direction for EHS initiatives, work closely with the global EHS team, regional leadership, site leads and the site EHS Leaders, to align initiatives, implement standardized processes, and drive operational efficiencies. Your leadership will drive EHS performance improvements, standardized processes, and efficiencies across the region. Additionally, you will represent AGCO in regulatory matters, ensuring compliance and advocating for best practices.
Your Impact
- Leadership and Management:

Lead a team across multiple locations in North America.

Create and execute the Regional EHS strategy in collaboration with key regional leaders.

Efficiently manage EHS budgets and resources.

Compliance and Regulatory:
-
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Handle regulatory compliance matters and represent the company in defense of allegations.

Work with site leaders & EHS leaders to maintain regulatory standards.

Strategy and Implementation:

Key member of the global leadership team, collaborating on the development of global strategies and ensuring alignment with regional plans

Develop and align Regional Performance Standards with corporate guidelines.

Communication and Collaboration:
-
Develop and implement effective safety communication plans, including an escalation process, to ensure that proper individuals are notified of incidents and proper responses are issued

Work with Communications team to disseminate EHS information to internal and external stakeholders.

Risk Management:
-
Collaborate closely with risk insurance teams on workers' comp and property insurance and coordinate implementation of actions related to risk insurance audit recommendations.

Provide technical expertise in risk reduction, lead incident investigations and root cause analysis, and oversee implementation of risk control measures

Your Experience and Qualifications
-
8- 12 years of experience in the field of Environmental, Health, and Safety.

Bachelor's degree in safety and health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, or similar.

Expertise managing regulatory inspections (OSHA, EPA, DOT, etc.) and regulatory matters, including interactions with federal and local regulators.

Experience managing multiple direct reports in a matrix organization.

Comprehensive experience in implementing and/or optimizing EHS systems and processes in a manufacturing environment.

Strong interpersonal communication skills, capable of engaging with executives, senior management, and key stakeholders.

Proven ability to lead the development and execution of regional EHS strategies while managing multiple priorities and complex situations.
Your Compensation
This position will pay within the range of $93,000 - $195,000, based on experience. This position is eligible for a bonus based on 20% of compensation.

A hybrid schedule at one of our locations - Duluth, Georgia, Hesston, Kansas, Batavia, Illinois or Jackson, Minnesota - is preferred. However, remote work within the U.S. may be considered.
