We are actively growing our sales and dealer network and are looking for trainers to support our Farmer First Strategy. This position provides an exciting opportunity to be the technical systems and product expert, develop and manage the learning process and course curriculum, and travel to provide on-site technical training for our dealers.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Identify training and development needs within AGCO and the dealer network through cross functional collaboration and regular consultation with field organization.
  • Develop and deliver technical training via in person classroom training, electronic learning and multimedia programs, and live virtual training sessions.
  • Facilitate classes with focus on safety, installation, programming, maintenance, and repair of software, machinery, and systems.
  • Maintains safe and healthy training environment by following organization standards and legal regulations.
  • Establish and communicate dealer technician best practices including but not limited to following manufacturer's guidelines for pre-delivery and preventive maintenance requirements, diagnosing and troubleshooting malfunctions, effective use of Tech Connect systems, as well as customer service and relationship management.
  • Administer written and practical exams, compile performance reports to evaluate trainees' performance, and create dashboard to track learning progress.
  • Manage the training schedules of assigned products and all necessary training aides and facilities to meet the needs of AGCO Dealers.
  • Travel up to 50%. 
     

What You Will Bring:

  • Passion for developing and delivering the best in class training experience through a dynamic curriculum while leveraging multiple teaching styles
  • Degree in Engineering, Technology, Adult Education or Agricultural Sciences discipline or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience in the agricultural industry (preferred).
  • Technical experience relating to diagnostics of mechanical, electrical (12 or 24 volt DC) and hydraulic systems.
  • Knowledge of concepts of product design and system functionality.
  • Familiarity with agriculture industry – dealer or on-farm experience.
