We are looking for a Benefits Specialist with experience in US health and welfare benefits and an understanding of federal and state leave administration. The successful candidate will collaborate effectively with both internal stakeholders and external vendors, while providing comprehensive support to the Global Benefits COE.
Your Impact

Comprehensive knowledge of benefit plan design, adeptness at interpreting relevant laws, and proven skill in addressing issues within benefits framework, regulatory standards, policies, and procedures.

In-depth understanding of federal and state regulations affecting employee benefits under ERISA and leave laws (such as FMLA, CFRA, PDL, PFL, ADA), and expertise in COBRA, HIPAA, and ACA compliance requirements.

High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), SharePoint, SAP, and practical experience using Ben-Admin enrollment and leave management systems. Review, interpret, and apply benefit plan documents, leave laws and regulatory requirements to ensure consistent and compliant administration.

Demonstrated analytical and critical-thinking skills with proven success evaluating processes, identifying gaps, and implementing improvements across a decentralized environment.

Excellent communication skills, strong teamwork and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion while providing exemplary customer service.
Your Experience and qualifications

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent, along with a minimum of 5 years of direct experience with US benefits and leave of absence programs.

This position is based in Duluth, Georgia and requires the employee to be Onsite 4 days a week.

You will serve as a primary contact for daily benefits and leave questions, applying analytical thinking to evaluate issues, determine appropriate solutions, and escalate complicated matters when necessary to help prevent unfavorable employee experiences.
