We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and innovative Business Continuity Specialist to join our team. As a Business Continuity Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective Business Continuity strategies and plans for our organization. You will work closely with stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure the continuity of our business operations in the event of a disaster or crisis.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Contribute to the continual build, embedding, and improvement of the AGCO Business Continuity program.
  • Conduct risk and business impact assessments and identify potential threats to the organization.
  • Develop and maintain Business Continuity strategies and plans that meet the needs of the organization.
  • Define critical processes, dependencies, recovery objectives, timelines, and procedures in case of a disaster.
  • Test and evaluate the effectiveness of Business Continuity Plans and make necessary adjustments.
  • Conduct regular training and awareness sessions to ensure employees are familiar with incident response and Business Continuity plans and procedures.
  • Advocate on behalf of the business to ensure that data backup and recovery systems are in place and functional.
  • Monitor and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Identify and communicate potential risks and issues related to Business Continuity planning to management and stakeholders.

 

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Business Continuity planning and management.
  • Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 22301 and NIST 800-53.
  • Excellent relationship-building, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization.

 

A Plus If You Have:

  • Certifications in Business Continuity Management (e.g., CBCP, CBCI, MBCI) are a plus.
