With the Farmer at the core, the Digital and information function drives AGCO’s unified digital journey across multiple existing and new ecosystems based on technology, data, and AI.
We strive towards efficient and modernized operations (Digital Twins and Digital Threads), reducing the distance to the farmer (with 360 platforms) and creating additional value with new digital products and data monetization at the lowest TCO with speed and better quality.
In this newly created role, the incumbent will drive the above objectives by automation business processes leveraged by building systems of record to enforce a single version of the truth as well as 360-degree views of farmer, machine, farm, and Dealer as well as deploying AI across the AGCO ecosystem at the lowest total cost.
Innovation, Trust building, Flexibility, and adaptability are key traits for success in this role. The incumbent should be prepared to navigate challenges and drive the strategic use of Automation, data, and AI within the organization, enabling structural transformation.
Your Impact
- Process Transformation via Automation: Lead the delivery of lights-out automation for 500+ identified processes by engaging with stakeholders to influence business process transformation and leveraging Process mining tools with capability-based taxonomy frameworks, delivering organizational efficiencies in alignment with our Agvance Strategy.
- Robotic Process Automation: Deploy RPA tools (Blue Prism) or others to build bots that are able to complement and augment our team members so that they can focus more on our “Farmer First” promise
- Data Strategy & Delivery: Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with the company’s business objectives while leveraging maturity models
- Data & AI Governance: Establish and oversee data governance frameworks complemented by tools/processes to ensure data accuracy, accessibility, consistency, and protection of privacy, ensuring compliance while delivering value.
- Innovation: Cultivate a culture of innovation and experimentation with data and AI within AGCO
- Data Quality: Implement measures to ensure data quality and integrity across all data sources and databases.
- Data & AI Ops: Establish industry standard SLAs and ensure the Data & AI operations are meeting the SLAs
- Data Utilization: Identify opportunities to leverage data to support business objectives and drive value with modern technologies for data warehouse/lakehouse. Deploy data migration and availability technologies on the cloud.
- Privacy and Compliance: Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
- AI delivery Alignment: Spearhead a multidisciplinary team for enterprise-wide AI aligns AI strategies with business objectives while delivering state of the art machine learning models. Deploy and deliver GenAi technologies to scale and democratize AI by making it easily available to users.
- AI Ethics: Oversee the ethical design, development, and implementation of AI models and algorithms.
- Partners capabilities hips: Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration to connect emerging capabilities to complex business problems by establishing partnerships internally/externally to enhance the company’s AI and Automation .
- Leadership: Lead/influence a team of techno-functional process experts, architects, technologists, developers, managers, and AI specialists, amongst other competencies, to deliver on strategic objectives. Maintain involvement in external organizations and publications to represent AGCO.
Your Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. Master’s in Business Administration or Computer Science. Advanced degree highly preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing or agricultural industry.
- Excellent Technical, leadership, and team management skills.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Strong understanding and implementation experience of Programming Languages, RPA tools, Cloud, Data migration, ETL tools, Process mining, AI, machine learning models, GenAi, and data analytics.
- Extensive experience in data governance, data management, and ensuring data quality.
- Experience in Data Management Frameworks, Capability Maturity Models, Governance frameworks, Service-oriented architecture, and Data Quality assurance.
- Experience with data privacy regulations and compliance.
