IT Analyst (Web Content) Job

SUMMARY

AGCO is a global leader in the design manufacture and distribution of agricultural equipment.  We are currently seeking an Adobe AEM Analyst to help support AGCO’s online digital presence.  You will design technical solutions to existing and new site deployments, enhancements and systems integration. Overall this role is critical to the entire project life cycle as it will be responsible for requirement definition, design, configuration, testing, and documentation to ensure best practices are followed and business value is delivered in accordance to the objectives.  Acting as a key liaison/engagement role between the global AGCO business and IT support functions.  This role encompasses systems and data related activities as well business.  These responsibilities include providing support for project work, ongoing day-to-day operational needs (maintenance, fixes, enhancements, releases and small change requests.), performing data analysis.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with development, deployment, and production areas of business to craft new solutions using Adobe AEM.
  • Collaborate with key business resources on requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, user acceptance, implementation, and documentation.
  • Understand and translate business concepts to executable functional designs; ensure functional designs are executed as a viable solution to the business concept; ensuring module solution aligns and is compatible with overall architecture.
  • Work with other analysts to understand integration points with other systems and communicate the impact of proposed system changes.
  • Develop and keep updated, functional design documents and testing scripts ensuring scripts are aligned with current system design and business practices.
  • Partner with technical and business resources to support the product life cycle from Idea Generation through Completion.
  • Plan production software deployment activities and provide input into the change management process.
  • Monitor performance and provide responsive action to issues maintaining high-level internal customer satisfaction to required service level performance measures, through the successful resolution of customer requests/issues/change requests.
  • Plan, prepare and execute system, product, acceptance and operational readiness testing.  Create test approaches, conditions, cycles, scripts, environments.   

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
  • 3+ years of Adobe AEM experience
    • AEM Classic and Touch UI Interfaces
    • AEM user permissions, workflows, package manager, tagging
    • AEM translation projects and tools
    • AEM multi-site management (MSM)
  • Strong communication / interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with multiple levels of IT and business management.
  • Effective working relationship with the business to ensure business requirements are accurately captured, agreed and accepted.
  • Adaptable to new technologies/practices and acts as change agent within teams.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Good working knowledge of the following:
    • IT change management process
    • Problem management procedures
    • Multiple business process from an IT perspective.
    • All systems being and their impact on the business both regionally and globally
    • Day-to-day operational environment locally, regionally and globally
    • The roles and responsibilities of the key IT staff members regionally and globally
    • IT vendor management
  • Experience with systems analysis experience with Adobe AEM Web Content Management System (WCMS) and Digital Asset Management (DAM)
  • Previous experience with the following a plus:
    • HTML/CSS/JavaScript
    • Apache SOLR Search
    • Linux OS
    • AWS CloudFront / S3
  • Previous experience with Mobile, APIs, and other large system deployment knowledge is a plus.
