Job Title: Security Engineer B



  • Primarily responsible for designing secure, user friendly connected agricultural equipment and products.​

  • Responsible for helping vehicle platform, and technology module teams select and implement ECUs and hardware that support our security mission.​

  • Work with development teams to design security into embedded products.  Facilitate security audits and reviews.​

  • Ensure product team adherence with global product security guidelines and recommendations.​

  • Evangelize security concepts across team.​

  • Design tools and methods to model, detect, and prevent security issues.​

  • Work together with relevant teams to test secure solutions.​

  • Identify and drive security risk vs cost analysis for products.​

  • Stay up to date with current industry events, techniques, threats and knowledge shifts



  • Experience securing embedded systems and the data path through complex architectures, to cloud computing.​

  • IoT security experience.​

  • Understanding of modern cryptography and cryptanalysis techniques, methods, and tools.​

  • Preferred interest and experience in Vehicle or Agricultural security, such as common car hacking methods and techniques.​

  • Proven experience in thread modeling and mitigation.​

  • Demonstrated skill in hardware and software security.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Fluency in one or more common scripting and compiled language such as Python, Go, Java, C​

  • Understanding of modern web based transport and application layer such as FTP, HTTP, TLS, UDP, TCP/IP etc.​

  • Understanding of modern near-distance wireless communication such as BLE, WIFI, RFID​

  • Understanding of lightweight data transfer protocol such as CAN, I2C, Spi​

  • Deep understanding of linux.


Specific Training/Certification

  • Industry certifications: Sec+, CEH, GPEN, PenTest+​

  • Affiliation with a known entity that can publicly vouch for skillset​

  • Scrum/Agile


Minimum Requirement(s)

  • GED or equivalent​
