AGCO is building a world-class Data and Analytics organization which includes an Enterprise Data Hub, Data Platform, Reporting & Analytics Platform, Data Product Management as well as Data Governance and Data Quality Team in order to create the strategy and deliver high quality data throughout the organization to enable easy access to reliable data in order to enable data driven decisions to grow and evolve our business. We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to oversee the delivery of our Data Fast Forward Strategy in order to accelerate our delivery of high-quality data and solutions to the organization.
The Project Manager III position is responsible to provide project planning and project management leadership to facilitate consistent delivery of global and regional projects that efficiently and effectively meet business expectations regarding time, cost and quality in support and alignment with AGCO’s strategic plans. Responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects including tasks such as the development of project timelines and resource plans, monitoring, and summarizing progress of the project, and ensuring buy-in from project stakeholders and process owners. In addition, this resource ensures appropriate resource utilization, management of issues, dependencies and risks throughout the project lifecycle and compliance with project methodologies, plans and budgets. This role will deliver on the value of data to provide both cost reduction and increased revenues, enabling AGCO to better serve those feeding the world.
This will be a remote position.
What you will do:
- Maintain and communicate overall IT Data & Analytics portfolio; oversees the management of project closure initiatives
- Monitor progress, identify dependencies on other projects, and manage risks and issues.
- Responsible for the planning and on boarding of Data & Analytics projects and programs
- Provide day-to-day initiative leadership, instrumentation, analytics, and reporting.
- Establish work plans in conjunction with Business and IT Delivery Leadership.
- Prepare and review project proposals, Statements of Work, and request for proposal.
- Facilitate vendor presentations workshops and demonstrations.
- Provide regular communication of portfolio status while ensuring milestones and stage gates are defined and met.
- Champions strong IT governance in the project management framework and mentors project managers in its development and continuous improvement
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Internal/external partners and sponsors ensuring key stakeholders are identified and engaged early in the project life cycle
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years as a Project and/or Program management with experience leading global initiatives/3+ years global experience driving enterprise level change management cross functionally.
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with multiple levels of IT and business management;
- Understanding of project management methodologies, project estimation, system development lifecycle processes and tools to define, set-up, plan and deliver business projects.
- Financial analysis skills (due diligence, CER process, business case development, KPI definition)
- Effective working relationships with the business to ensure business requirements are accurately captured agreed, accepted, and implemented.
Travel:
- Estimated travel to be <25% of the time.
