AGCO Corp has an exciting opportunity for a high-impact IT Systems Administrator III to join its IT team in Duluth, GA. Only 30 minutes outside of Atlanta, Duluth is home to AGCO headquarters. The location allows easy access to the big city lifestyle that Atlanta provides. The headquarters have grown to now include over 500 employees. In this position, you will drive the highest level of service and quality to our dealership network.


The IT Systems Administrator III – Active Directory role will be working for Infra Apps / Active Directory Team. This group is responsible to provide full support for AGCO's Active Directory on-premises and cloud, their connection with the network and other servers. This includes global technical project support for AGCO’s global initiatives. The day-to-day technical support includes the responsibility for ensuring that the systems are highly available and reliable. Support for projects as required and for building new solutions in line with the approved standards and assisting where necessary to define such standards.


What you will do:

  • Responsible for day-to-day administration duties including Windows Active Directory object maintenance. Conducts complex troubleshooting and repair tasks on Active Directory, Windows Server 2008-2022, Domain Controllers, user authentication and other operational systems as needed.
  • Configure and maintain complex Active Directory forests and domains across a complex network with over 10,000 users and 40,000 Active Directory objects; Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) infrastructure management
  • Evaluate, define, develop, and deploy new service support processes and/or enhancements to existing processes related to Active Directory; Document new system components, or modifications to existing components; Maintain service processes, procedures and standards, methodologies and frameworks updated.
  • Work within a bastion forest solution to provide comprehensive security and management across multiple Active Directory forests.
  • Continually monitor environment to ensure best practices and Federal guidelines are being followed; Create advanced monitoring strategies for monitoring and reporting health of Active Directory components; Record problem symptoms and status information in a timely fashion and communicate internally within IT and externally with the customer through problem resolution.
  • Ensure that Sarbanes-Oxley compliant policies are applied to all applications developed or supported; ensure the security and integrity of system and product solutions.
  • Participate in on-call rotation (as required) for emergency technical support and planned maintenance activities.


What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering, or other related field
  • 6-8 years’ experience Active Directory Management
  • Microsoft or Azure Certification


A plus if you have:

  • Experience with Adaxes
