We are seeking an initiative-taking Product Owner to join the IT team at AGCO’s corporate office in Duluth, GA. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced environment and become part of a dynamic and growth-oriented company.
The Product Owner (PO) is one of the key operational roles within a digital product team. The PO is responsible for maximizing the value delivered by the team and ensuring that the Team Backlog is aligned with customer and stakeholder needs. As a member of the extended Product Management function, the PO is the team’s primary customer advocate and primary link to business and technology strategy. This enables the team to balance the needs of multiple stakeholders while continuously evolving the Solution. The PO has a significant role in quality control and is the only team member empowered to accept stories as done.
What you will do:
- Represent the customer /dealer needs by engaging the customer/ dealer
- Be the voice of the customer throughout the development cycle
- Supporting the team in delivering Value
- Contributes to the vision and roadmap of a Product
- Own prioritization of product backlog to be continually aligned to business value and the overall release plan.
- Balance stakeholder perspectives and proactive communication of the roadmap as well as be a passionate advocate of product roadmap
- Act as knowledge broker to resolve blockers
- Owns User Story planning, writing and refinement
- Answers questions from developers and clarify requirements and foster Built-In Quality
- Organize sequence of work by collaborating with other product owners to identify dependencies and refine enabler stories
- Leads backlog grooming to decompose, estimate and refine stories with other product teams
- Contribute to the success of each sprint and make sure the team understands the roadmap and goals at the beginning of every sprint
- Leadership and active participation for agile ceremonies such as Product Increment Planning, Sprint Planning, Refinements, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives
- Ensure proper business testing on user story level
- Participate in preparation and presentation of product demos and prepare product launches/releases.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent education
- 3-7 years of professional experience in Digital IT or Product Management
- Experience with Salesforce Security and sharing models
- Relevant experience in software development and solid knowledge of agile methods (e.g., SAFe)
- Understanding of Salesforce Flows, Approval Processes, Validation Rules, etc.
- Expert knowledge in opportunity and business case development, business process re-engineering, organizational change management, transition planning, system development lifecycles, program/project management and fielding of business applications in a large-scale enterprise with complex organizational and IT structures
A plus if you have:
- Global company experience is a plus.
- Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder, & Sales Cloud Consultant Certification a plus
