Who We Are Looking For The Solution Manager (SoM) is ultimately accountable and responsible for defining and supporting the building of desirable, feasible, viable, and sustainable large-scale business solutions that meet customer needs on a global basis. This role achieves this by collaborating with a wide range of people to identify and define customer needs, understand the Solution Context, and develop the Solution Vision, Solution Roadmap. The Solution Manager leads the Solution Owners (SoO) teams to identify and refine the Capabilities required to deliver the Solution Roadmap, as well as breaking them down into features. The Solution Manager aligns with the Enterprise Architecture team and the Solution Train's ARTs teams. The Solution Manager identifies the customers and stakeholders, and has a strong Customer-Centric mindset, and is ultimately responsible for delivering and measuring customer value for the Solution. On the delivery side, the role works in close alignment the Product Management teams within the ARTs context and plays a critical role in solution train events including Pre- and Post-PI planning, Solution and System Demos and Solution Train Sync. The role is part of the Digital Transformation Office and One Digital team.

What You Will Do

  •  Create and Evolve Solution Vision and Roadmap in conjunction with Enterprise Architect
  • Align the solution and the portfolio roadmap with relevant Milestones, Releases, and Epics identified on the solution roadmap
  • Communicate investment and capacity needs in advanced of the delivery or during annual budgeting cycles.
  • Define and manage requirements at the solution level
  • Decompose requirements to communicate intent with internal and external suppliers and support compliance needs
  • Evolve requirements based on feedback, making tradeoff decisions after consulting with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Identify and refine Epics, Capabilities and Identify Features that drive the backlogs for the solution train ARTs';
  • Plan epics and capabilities through the solution Kanban; Maintain the solution PI roadmap.
  • Identify Digital innovation opportunities, align value with identified stakeholders, plan and executed PoC work as required.

 

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 6-8 years of business experience
  • Strong business mindset
  • Strong Experience in Agile Development of Digital Solutions
  • Experience in (digital product) vision, strategy and/or management of larger business units
  • Experience in international or multi-content stakeholders
  • superior communication skills, team player, has worked in international environments, fluent English. Experience in Agriculture or comparable industry is a plus.

 

A Plus If You Have

  •  Ability to break-down complex business initiatives and objectives into multi-year plans - aligning the delivery plan across the involved solution teams.
  • Prior experience in optimizing the UX across a complex landscape of solutions is a must.
  • Prior experience in stakeholder management in global companies is considered a plus.
