AGCO Corp is seeking a Senior Director, Digital Technology Transformation Officer who will provide executive leadership and strategic direction for the newly established Enterprise Governance (EG) organization, unifying Enterprise Architecture (EA), Project Management Office (PMO), and Organizational Change Management (OCM) into a single cohesive value creation engine.
This senior leadership role focuses on translating AGCO's business strategy into actionable technology roadmaps, establishing robust portfolio governance, and ensuring seamless organizational adoption of digital transformations. By integrating architecture blueprints with disciplined project delivery and proactive change management, the Senior Director ensures maximum ROI, operational efficiency, and innovation across the enterprise.
Your Impact
- Strategic Leadership & Value Creation: Provide leadership and direction through senior managers responsible for enterprise architecture, PMO, and OCM activities. Establish the strategy and governance frameworks for the EAG function, ensuring the organization serves as a catalyst for value creation rather than mere operational oversight.
- PMO & Portfolio Optimization: Oversee the PMO to drive strategic portfolio management, resource optimization, and strict governance across enterprise-level IT initiatives. Align DT investments with business strategy, ensuring projects are prioritized based on strategic alignment and return on investment (ROI).
- Program & Project Governance: Oversee the PMO to drive strategic portfolio management, strict governance, and resource optimization across enterprise-level DT initiatives.
- Enterprise Architecture Strategy: Define and own the enterprise architecture vision and future-state roadmaps (Customer, Dealer, Farmer 360, ERP, MES, PLM, Security, Data, Infrastructure) aligned to long-term business objectives. Guide innovative, AI-forward, and interoperable architecture solutions following modern industry standards.
- Maturity, Governance & Operational Excellence: Mature DT PMO, EA governance, management, and operating structures to be robust enough to scale with AGCO's ambitions — raising EA Framework practice, PMO process discipline, resource utilization, and financial stewardship (technical debt, customization, and run-cost reduction) across the global portfolio.
- Organizational Change Management (OCM): Champion OCM strategies to ensure technology solutions are seamlessly adopted by business users. Build capabilities that mitigate organizational resistance, maximize end-user value realization, and minimize business disruption.
- OCM - Enterprise Change Execution: Contribute to the planning, communication, and execution of change initiatives related to large programs across the DT organization.
- Integrated Governance: Design and govern integrated structures (e.g., architecture review boards, project steering committees) to embed compliance, security, and quality assurance into all solution delivery. Prevent technical debt and 'shadow IT' through scalable governance.
- Executive Engagement & Trusted Advisory: Influence and negotiate with senior executive leaders (DTLT), ensuring architecture decisions and project prioritization accelerate simplification and maximize ROI. Synthesize complex technical concepts into comprehensible business narratives.
- DT Organizational Efficiency & Operating Model: Enable the operating model and continuous improvement of the Digital Technology (DT) organization — streamlining structures, roles, and decision rights across EA, PMO, and OCM to eliminate duplication, close the gap between strategic planning and execution, and ensure technology investments consistently deliver expected returns.
Your Experience and Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in technology leadership, strategic IT portfolio management, or enterprise architecture roles.
- 8+ years of leadership experience managing senior managers within a technology, PMO, or EA function.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute enterprise-level strategies with a focus on value creation.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of emerging technologies (AI, Cloud, Industry 4.0/5.0).
- Exceptional ability to influence, negotiate, and communicate effectively at the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) level.
Your Benefits
- Employee Benefits Plans vary by country.
