AGCO Corp has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Manager, Product Management Global Fendt Application and Tracked Tractor to join its Customer Experience team in Duluth, GA (Hybrid). Only 30 minutes outside of Atlanta, Duluth is home to AGCO headquarters. The location allows easy access to the big city lifestyle that Atlanta provides. The headquarters have grown to now include over 500 employees. In this position, you will drive the highest level of service and quality to our dealership network.
The position will focus on the application products (R9/F4 Platforms) and Tracked Tractor products (T1 and T2 platforms) designed and built in North America distributed both domestically and internationally. The role will be supporting the development of all commercial CER’s related to the product and projects, and the creation of the executive summaries, and ensuring the regional input for NPS, define the technical and market requirements within project scope interfacing with distributors and customers across regions and product segments to ensure that market trends and customer outcomes are clearly reflected in product strategy and specifications.
What you will do:
- Analyze competitors, 3rd parties and general market trends to provide insight and direction on for AGCO products to be market leading. Analyze and incorporate new trends in product specifications; know about competitors and their products and services
- Coordinate Voice of Customer events to get feedback on current offerings and to ensure that new developments meet the customers’ expectations for target regions of sale. Evaluation of the customer acceptance and market opportunities for the Crop Care product line while also evaluating general trends in Crop Care products.
- Specification of new products and maintenance updates in a written document that is the basis for the development process and market introduction that are agreed to cross functionality and signed off.
- Collection of customer requirements and establishment of market overview; good knowledge about target market and target customer; knowledge about pros and cons of AGCO technology products compared to the competitors’ offerings
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree required in related field
- 7+ years’ experience in Previous Marketing, Product support, Project Management or Product Management
- Excellent analytical, presentation and communication skills
- Ability to prepare status reports and presentations for management/product committee meetings
A plus if you have:
- Master’s degree in related field
- Experience with life cycle management tools such as Polarion ALM for product requirements management is a plus, but not required
- Agronomy experience and knowledge of precision technology utilized on application, planting, and seeding equipment is preferred
