AGCO Corp has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Project Engineer to join its team.  This position will be assigned a “remote” working status and can be required to travel to a North America site as needed (Batavia, IL, Jackson, MN, Hesston, KS, Assumption, IL, or Duluth, GA).


Supply Chain Engineering will be responsible for optimizing NA wide supply chain processes, performance and tools. The position is responsible for supporting the Materials team, idea generation and implementation of supply chain optimization actions including supplier performance and development, transportation, material flow and inventory optimization.  Also, the position will drive and support critical supply chain situations and optimization of costs, capacity utilization while meeting specifications/requirements from Materials, Logistics, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Engineering.


What you will do:   

  • Facilitate and drive resolution of supply chain risks, analyze root cause and drive sustainable avoidance of recurrence - Regular meetings with suppliers to discuss performance and deliveries. Support the Materials team, follow up and expediting critical suppliers when necessary.
  • Support to development and implementation of standards for AGCOs materials management process landscape, supplier performance and infrastructure environment and tie into global strategies where possible
  • Establish and use of supply chain /materials performance metrics, define actions to improve targets on expected level and follow up with local site material managers
  • NA project lead and coordination point to establish and maintain performance metrics (materials cost and capacity related) of materials processes in NA in alignment with global standards
  • Support the implementation of SAP ERP in our different sites, liaise with IT and local process owners to drive implementation of new processes in existing IT infrastructure such as SNC and APEX


 What you will bring:   

  • University degree required; additional benefits with academic training in business, economics and/or engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in international logistics supply chain preferably logistics planning, materials planning and manufacturing
  • Strong experience with SAP MM; PP, LES is a differential
  • Project management skills and experience in working across functions, multiple sites and cultures
  • Travel Requirements:  up to 50% globally


A Plus If You Have[SV1] 

  • Global experience with intercultural team that’s cross-functional and cross-brand
  • MS Project experience is beneficial, but not required
