AGCO Corp has an exciting opportunity for a Warranty Recovery Specialist to join its team in Duluth, GA (Hybrid). Only 30 minutes outside of Atlanta, Duluth is home to AGCO headquarters. The location allows easy access to the big city lifestyle that Atlanta provides. The headquarters have grown to now include over 500 employees. In this position, you will drive the highest level of service and quality to our dealership network. 

The primary focus of this position is to Manage, develop, and lead Commercial Warranty Recovery initiatives and processes in a manner that is consistent with the achievement of Global Warranty Recovery targets and Global strategies for a designated group of suppliers for a defined commodity mix. This involves professional negotiation with suppliers for equitable settlement of supplier attributed warranty claims and working closely with suppliers to establish or maintain global warranty agreements. Supplier opportunity assessment, professional relationship development along with routine interaction with internal AGCO personnel (Corporate Purchasing, Engineering, New Product Introduction, Manufacturing Quality and Technical Services & Support) is required to achieve aggressive supplier recovery targets.

What you will do:   

  • Complete Commercial management, engagement, and negotiation with designated suppliers within Global Commodity mix for reimbursement of supplier-attributable warranty and campaign expense as deployed by Global Warranty Recovery Manager for assigned commodity. In addition to Hydraulics, this role will be also responsible for Peripheral suppliers.
  • Manage Supplier Warranty adjudication behavior (Acceptance and Rejection ratios) focused on KPI attainment for warranty recovery expense-Maintain a cadence of engagement with key global suppliers for strategic reviews relating to warranty data, negotiations, commercial subjects, recovery statistics and warranty expense reduction.
  • Routine alignment and direction to Global Warranty Recovery Analysts who support assigned commodity relating to supplier claim creation, process, and escalation of tactical concerns. Provide a clear escalation point for analyst to address gaps and delinquencies from supplier recovery claims process and behavior.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial reporting on recovery activities
  • Negotiate and maintain Global Supplier Warranty Agreements with suppliers for defined warranty expense coverage as a % expense
  • Travel requirements: 10% - 15%

 What you will bring:   


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • 5 years experience in Durable Goods, Heavy Equipment and / or Agriculture industry
  • 3 years experience in Supply Chain Practices and / or Commercial Negotiations
  • Experience in successfully interfacing within a large Global enterprise across multiple support sites and functions
