Your Impact 

• You are responsible for the entire purchasing process of your category, conduct supplier negotiations independently and implement targeted cost reduction initiatives  

• You ensure that purchasing decisions meet our corporate objectives in terms of cost, quality, delivery capability and risk management  

• You build long-term, partnership-based relationships with suppliers and negotiate optimal conditions in terms of price and service  

• You regularly analyse spend data, monitor the budget of your subcategory and identify and minimise potential risks in the supply chain 

• You work closely with internal departments, resolve escalations in supplier management and actively support product launches 

Your Experience and Qualifications 

• Completed studies in business administration, industrial engineering, supply chain management or comparable qualification  

• Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing in the commercial vehicle or automotive industry  

• Proven success in supplier negotiations, contract management and cost reduction projects  

• Sound knowledge of the foundry industry and experience with castings and turned parts  

• Business fluent in English, user knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP and confident handling of MS Office
