Not everyone can claim to feed the world, but it is part of our every day. Behind everything we do for our farmers, there is one AGCO team making it happen. We are proud to put our curiosity to work, building a better and more sustainable world. Join our extraordinary team today!
We are looking for a visionary leader to serve as the architect of our future workforce. As the Aftersales Technical Talent Program Manager, you won't just manage programs; you will build the roadmap that ensures the AGCO dealer network is powered by the best technicians in the industry. You will act as a strategist, a relationship builder, and a motivator, connecting aspiring talent with a high-tech career in agriculture.
Your Impact
-
Vision & Strategy: Design and execute a comprehensive North American strategy to identify, recruit, and retain the next generation of AGCO technicians. Program Ownership: Lead and scale high-impact initiatives, including the AGCO Service Technician AAS degree (Parkland College) and the AGCO NexTECH program.
-
Manage and expand our formalized Work-Based Learning Apprenticeship Program, transforming it into a scalable model that can be implemented across various business units and markets.
-
Relationship Leadership: Serve as the primary liaison and AGCO "ambassador" to strategic partners such as 4-H, FFA, and SkillsUSA/Canada. ROI Optimization: Analyze partnership engagement to ensure we are investing in the right channels to maximize talent acquisition and brand visibility.
-
Act as a consultant to our dealer network, providing them with the tools and talent pipelines they need to thrive.
-
Market Expansion: Identify opportunities to take successful regional "schemes" and adapt them for broader North American markets. Continuous Improvement: Foster a positive environment for program success by constantly evaluating curriculum, mentor engagement, and student outcomes.
Your Experience and qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related fields. An Advanced degree is a plus. Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years in program management, workforce development, or vocational education leadership.Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to scale complex programs (like apprenticeships or certifications) from a local pilot to a regional or national level.
-
Direct experience working with national student organizations such as 4-H, FFA, or SkillsUSA/Canada. You should understand how to navigate these ecosystems to drive engagement. Dealer/Franchise Perspective: Experience working within a dealer network or a franchised business model is highly preferred. You must be able to influence independent business owners toward a shared vision. Public/Private Collaboration: Familiarity with managing partnerships with community colleges (e.g., AAS degree programs) and navigating state/provincial apprenticeship regulations.
-
ROI Mindset: Ability to translate "soft" engagement metrics (like brand awareness) into "hard" data (pipeline growth and retention rates). Strategic Communication: Exceptional public speaking and presentation skills; you will be the "voice" of AGCO's technical talent initiatives to both internal executives and external partners. Tactical Execution: Experience managing budgets, project timelines, and marketing collateral for recruitment initiatives.
-
A passion for developing others. You aren't just managing a program; you are championing the career paths of future technicians. Conflict Resolution: The ability to find common ground between educational standards, corporate goals, and dealer needs.
