Disaster Recovery Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Disaster Recovery Analyst to join our team. As a Disaster Recovery Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective disaster recovery strategies and plans for our organization. You will work closely with stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure the continuity of our business operations in the event of a disaster or crisis.

What You Will Do:

• Develop and maintain disaster recovery strategies and plans that meet the needs of the organization.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify potential threats to the organization.
•  Define recovery objectives, timelines, and procedures in case of a disaster.
•  Test and evaluate the effectiveness of disaster recovery plans and make necessary adjustments.
• Conduct regular training and awareness sessions to ensure employees are familiar with disaster recovery plans and procedures.
• Work with IT teams and vendors to ensure that data backup and recovery systems are in place and functional.
• Monitor and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for cost optimization.
• Identify and communicate potential risks and issues related to disaster recovery to management and stakeholders.

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
•  Proven experience in disaster recovery planning and management.
•  Knowledge of data backup and recovery systems and technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization.
• Knowledge of cloud-based disaster recovery solutions like Azure Site Recovery and AWS Disaster Recovery is preferred.

A Plus If You Have:

• Certification in disaster recovery planning and management (e.g., CBCP, DRCE) are a plus.
