AGCO is working to build and maintain a strong safety culture at our AGCO Hesston, Kansas location. We are seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Engineer to serve as a subject matter expert reporting to the site EHS Manager. This position will be responsible for managing the development, review/revisions, implementation, and maintenance of environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure employee safety, compliance, injury prevention, employee engagement, and mitigation being part of the AGCO Hesston EHS Team.



  • Coordinate site EHS compliance and management systems in accordance with governmental and company requirements.
  • Initiate, manage, and complete EHS related projects and goals.
  • Facilitate collaborative partnerships with management and employees to continuously improve the safety culture, awareness, and accountability in support of EHS programs.
  • Prepare, present, and track EHS incident, auditing, training and record keeping in addition to supporting incident investigation and corrective action measures. 
  • Support environmental compliance metrics and reporting including storm water, hazardous material management, air permits, life safety, hazardous wastes, spill prevention control and countermeasures programs, and chemical tracking and inventory programs.
  • Coordinate the execution of audits, IH sampling, ergonomic assessments, and assists in pollution prevention activities.



  • Bachelor of Science degree in in Environmental, Health and Safety with 3+ years’ experience OR; Bachelor of Science degree in related field with 5+ years of experience
  • Experience communicating and collaborating with all levels of an organization.
  • Experience managing EHS compliance and management systems in accordance with governmental and company requirements.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office platform (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and data analysis.



  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or Certified Hazardous Material Manager (CHMM)
  • Strong project management skills as the position requires project manage across global operations.
  • Strong data management and analysis skills as the position will be responsible for data management for Environmental Health and Safety.
  • Strong people skills, as the position will be required to influence people.
  • Knowledge of basic application of Lean Manufacturing Tools.
  • Proficiency in Spanish – Bilingual.
