As an Engineering Intern, you will be an important part of the team right from the start and can look forward to exciting work. We are interested in your ideas as it is often our students and their new perspective that helps us progress. With this, you can make a significant contribution to our company's success! At AGCO, you will gain valuable practical experience that will really help you get ahead.

 

Intern Program 

The AGCO Engineering internship program aims to identify promising undergraduate students and provide them with robust and meaningful engineering projects that can be completed within a 10–12 week timeframe. Projects will require mechanical knowledge, research, and collaboration with other engineers.

Internships are onsite in Hesston, Kansas during the summer from May 2026 through August 2026.

 

Your Impact: 

  • Take ownership of a specific engineering project, seeing it from start to finish.
  • Partner with managers to integrate seamlessly in the engineering team.
  • Gain experience with many opportunities, including manufacturing engineering, test engineering, software engineering, or design engineering.
  • Demonstrate significant mechanical knowledge, research and collaborate with other engineers.

 

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Current student enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in using 3-D modeling software to identify issues, summarize data, and present information effectively.
  • Ability to follow instructions and deliver quality work on time. Ask questions and seek clarification when needed. Stay organized and on-task.
  • Professional mindset and strong communication skills.
