NPI Gold and Green Harvesting Controller & Engineering NA

Who We Are Looking For AGCO, a global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of agricultural solutions, has an exciting career opportunity for a NPI Gold and Green Harvesting Controller to join our team in Hesston, KS. This position is responsible for leading product cost initiatives for new and existing products, working closely with Engineering to deliver quantifiable solutions, providing oversight, support and direction to the NPI Finance team at HES, covering NA Gold and Green Harvesting (4 heads), and providing direct Finance business and project support for the Harvesting business, especially for Hesston sites.

 

What You Will Do

  •  Lead product cost initiatives for new and existing products, working closely with Engineering to deliver quantifiable solutions
  • - Support financial assessment of platform and projects, managing financial support and coordination of specs, expenditure and reviews
  • - Highlight project issues potentially impacting the business cases and ensure the process related to the projects is aligned with the NPI Finance Guidelines
  • - Oversee controlling of Engineering OPEX and necessary elements of Engineering budget and forecast processes to deliver timely reporting and forecast accuracy
  • - Ensure correct assumptions for budgeting and forecasting with regard to new product program introductions (timing, pricing, product cost, one-time costs)
  • - Monitoring and critiquing of control product costs, ensuring key volume and pricing commitments are clear and acted upon
  • - Preparation and critical review of Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs) for projects and Engineering, and any related presentation materials
  • - Regular (monthly and quarterly) update of financials on PMA and to NPI Finance and Engineering management
  • - Collaborate with other departments to obtain required finance information
  • - Manage BOM roll up and PCO activities to ensure the products deliver the revenues/margins planned by the project and expected by AGCO
  • - Improve consistency of processes and methods for all projects
  • - Key member of the local Operational Product Committee reporting project financial KPIs to the management team
  • - Providing direct line management support to the NPI Controlling team at HES, covering NA Gold and Green (4 heads)
  • Requires up to 20% travel (predominantly in NA).

 

What You Will Bring

  • Previous team management experience
  • Background in financial appraisal and costing techniques
  • An understanding of AGCO's  product portfolio/product segment
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Accounting, Business, and/or Engineering
