Join AGCO’s Validation Engineering team and gain hands-on experience in testing and improving agricultural machinery. As a co-op, you will work alongside experienced engineers to support prototype testing, data collection, and product evaluation. This is a great opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world engineering challenges while contributing to the development of sustainable farming solutions.

 

Program Duration: May – December 2026

 

Your Impact: 

  • Work hands-on with test equipment, collecting, and analyzing data out in the field.
  • Report accurate test observations, results, part failures, performance data, functional and reliability issues, and recommend improvements.
  • Help assist engineering team in identification and resolving potential safety hazards.
  • Analyze collected data and write reports to effectively communicate and archive technical information.
  • Partner with design engineers, build technicians, suppliers, and the program team to help develop a world-class product.

 

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree at the start of the program in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field.
  • Self-motivated and can travel extensively (vehicle and airplane). A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
  • Professional mindset and effective communication skills.
  • Familiarity with agricultural equipment or off-highway machinery is a plus.
