Design Engineer

Job Summary:

The purpose of this job is to act as PL. Engineer in the design and development of engineering projects for release to production in a manner to ensure products provide superior performance, durability, quality and serviceability.

Job Responsibilities:

This position is one of several professional staff engineers reporting to an Engineering Manager Product.  Conceives and provides practical product design applications using complex technical principles.  The emphasis of this position is on creating concepts and directing the design and development of engineering projects.

Prepares concept, design, development, and feasibility studies of complex engineering projects.  Prepares development plans and is responsible for meeting scheduled dates. Conducts technical evaluation of major systems on competitive products.  

Coordinates product tests on current and prototype build designs.

Job Qualifications:

Education Mechanical  Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering Degree
Qualifications and Experience 
At least 2 years of previous experience in product development;
Desirable knowledge of agricultural products in particular planters ;
ADDITIONAL Requirements
GD&T;
DFMEA 4th ;
DVP&R;
Fluency in English language;
CAD Software ( desirable: Pro-engineer);
Desirable knowledge in FEA;
Desirable knowledge in PMP;
DFMA
