AGCO is looking for an Agronomy and Farm Solutions Manager to enhance machine functionalities for better agronomic and economic performance. This role involves developing and validating innovation ideas, providing agronomic ROI for new products, and conducting on-farm research. The candidate will also share research results and provide agronomic education at various events, helping AGCO stay competitive and support sustainable farming practices.
Your Impact

Be one of two NA representatives on the Global Agronomy and Farm Solutions team, who will focus on enhancing AGCO machine functionalities to better perform from an agronomic and economic point of view.

Develop and maintain a funnel of innovation ideas to be validated and prioritized for minimum viable product development.

Provide agronomic and grower ROI for new products to support AGCO Global Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing.

Interface directly with farmers, dealers, and AGCO stakeholders to identify, plan, and conduct on-farm research.

Share results of on-farm research with growers, dealers, and AGCO stakeholders at field events, meetings, farm shows, and conferences. Provide agronomic education materials at field events, meetings, farm shows, conferences, and via videos shared online
Your Experience and Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Agronomy or closely related plant science field of study required master's degree preferred

Self-driven, innovative, problem-solving, and solutions-oriented mindset. Technical experience working in the AG industry in a role conducting field research and/or selling with agronomy preferred. Possess a commercial mindset with deep agronomic understanding.

Must be technical and data orientated (understand the equipment and the data it generates and how this effects agronomic processes on a farm). Sound understanding of statistical analysis. Aligned research priorities conducted with results delivered on time. Agronomic Extension Education materials developed and delivered to plan. Candidate should be proficient in personal computer use (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Language skills include English required. Spanish, Portuguese, German, or French are helpful but not required.

Ability to work in the heat or cold outside and able to walk and work unassisted in fields. Certified Crop Advisor not required but preferred. Commercial Pesticide Applicator License not required but preferred
Your Compensation
This position will pay within the range of $90K-$110K, based on experience. This position is eligible for a bonus based on 10% of compensation.
