As an Embedded Software Developer II, you work closely with the function development teams and integrate the sum of those functions into vehicle specific ECU firmware. You will combine the software and parameter files of vehicles to working software compounds that will be tested by the validation group. The machine software compound is the integrated into the engineering bill of materials which serves as a vehicle to deploy the software package to production and the service tools. You participate in release planning events to understand the changes of the planned contents. You are part of a team of integration engineers, and you cooperate with this group to improve processes and methods. The activity encompasses to work with current products still operating on the legacy SW stack as well as integration work using an Autosar toolchain.
What You Will Do:
- Integration of specific ECU firmware and combination to machine compounds.
- Development of ECU specific integration code.
- Configuration and maintenance of the respective ECU and Vehicle build and test pipelines.
- Usage of Autosar integration tools.
- Participation in planning meetings on machine and function level.
- Cooperation with the validation team if integration issues are identified.
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in in electrical engineering, computer science or computer engineering.
- Embedded C programming skills are a must.
A Plus If You Have:
- Autosar experience a plus.
- Familiarity with AGCO software deployment workflows is a plus.
