As an AGCO Engineering Intern, you design and develop moderately complex product and component concepts for release to production to ensure superior performance, durability, reliability, quality and serviceability to the worldwide marketplace.

 

Intern Program 

We match interns with projects based on their interests and educational background. Interns are paired with technical managers at AGCO. These project sponsors provide technical training, project support, and deliverables for intern projects.

 

Internships are onsite in Jackson, Minnesota during the summer from May 2026 through August 2026.

 

Your Impact: 

  • Conceive and provide practical and improved product design applications.
  • Prepare design layouts by using a computer graphics system. 
  • Accurately makes design calculations, decisions, and performs necessary analysis and computer simulations.
  • Work closely with the Test Engineers and technicians, plant personnel and suppliers regarding product design, test, and production schedule dates.
  • Provide guidance to Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, Marketing, Sales, Service and other departments.

 

Your Experience and Qualifications

  •  Current student enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in using 3-D modeling software to identify issues, summarize data, and present information effectively.
  • Ability to follow instructions and deliver quality work on time. Ask questions and seek clarification when needed. Stay organized and on-task.
  • Professional mindset and strong communication skills.

 

Your Compensation

This position will pay within the range of $22-$25/hour, based on experience.
