 The purpose and scope of the Field Quality Lead is leadership and management of the Product Problem Resolution (PPR) process at the site and/or product line level, or other product function grouping. The position acts as the liaison between site Quality, Product Integrity, Engineering, Customer Support, Product Management, Supply Chain, and all other entities involved in the resolution of machine concerns.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Lead the PPR process and serve as the single-point-of contact for the PPR process to the local Quality organization
  • Integrate information from a variety of sources to detect trends, associations, and cause-effect relationships supporting field issue problem solving
  • Support the analysis of and monitor failure data to guide AGCO's PPR Agenda
  • Prepare analytics for emerging product issues
  • Deliver timely reporting of corporate Field Quality KPIs to the Product Integrity functional leader
  • Create monthly product health reports for local OPC and Manager Meetings
  • Ensure PPR's are raised for product issues which contribute to significant failure volumes or cost
  • Support finance in POS Warranty accrual rate estimation and PSP planning (when requested)
  • Support the analysis of legacy product quality performance and provide input for the New Product Specification (NPS) to drive solutions to current quality issues.
  • Work with NPI teams to create maturity metrics to support decision-making in gate reviews
  • Ensure transparency to issues as they arise and manage escalations when appropriate
  • Drive RF and Claim Rate improvement, ensuring coordination with current maintenance and NPI activities
  • Support analytics for Early Warning Team work in tracking performance of first units sold
  • Utilize Dealer PDI results and PDI Problems to drive improvements on production line
  • Partnering with Product Integrity and Customer Support for further improvement of the PPR process
  • Create plans for self and others to complete work efficiently via task, time, and resource mgmt.





  • Business or engineering degree preferred
  • Ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Quality or related field
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in cross functional team
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Creative and strong problem solving abilities Background in ISO 9001:2015 standards
  • Understanding of Quality Assurance process in an OEM
  • Must be proficient with Technical knowledge and acumen (AG Equipment and comparable machinery)
  • Ability to influence with no direct reporting relationship
