The Technical Service Specialist ("Specialist") is responsible for the dissemination of accurate and prompt service direction to first level, dealer, distributor and/or field service inquiries via telephone and the web for assigned AGCO products. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and diagnostics for all technical issues and then communication in the forms of tele-service, web communication, and dealer training (supplemental assistance only). The Specialist is expected to be a recognized service expert on their assigned product(s). This position will focus on digital on-board products including but not limited to GNSS, Guidance, ISO, Consoles, FMIS, Telemetry and other on-board products.   

 

Your Impact 

  • Provide second-level support to AGCO GCE, dealers, and customers via phone and ticketing systems to resolve product-related issues.  

  • Handle inquiries regarding product features, technical problems, and administrative assistance.  

  • Collaborate and escalate issues to Product Teams (Level 2 & 3) and IT Team (Level 3) to ensure timely resolution.  

  • Develop technical expertise on assigned products through inquiry handling, knowledge creation, IT collaboration, and occasional field visits.  

  • Enhance skills and contribute by participating in training programs and testing new products and features. 

 

Your Experience and Qualifications 

  • Candidates should be familiar with computer systems and commonly used software applications.  

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.  

  • A good understanding of dealership business practices related to product support is preferred.  

  • Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, are required.  

  • Experience in dealership operations (sales, parts, or service) is beneficial but not mandatory.

Your Compensation 

This position will be within the range of $54,797 - $110,000 based on experience. This position is eligible for a bonus based on 7% compensation.
