The purpose and scope of the Product Performance Specialist are to act as a subject matter expert for the Onboard Precision Farming products and technologies: ACM, Guidance, Terminals, ISO Bus, and other related products. The position is directly responsible for identifying systemic failures, resolution definition, and field implementation of product improvements that increase the overall health of AGCO products. The position is directly responsible and accountable for meeting or exceeding product health targets, including time to identify new issues and time to implement improvements to the field population.  

This individual will work globally with AGCO back-office employees to resolve customer-reported failures from various regions. This individual will be responsible for working with the AGCO Engineering teams, IT teams, and vendors to drive the resolution of customer-reported failures in a timely manner, using the Product Problem Resolution (PPR) process. This individual will also work with Digital and NPI team members to ensure the readiness of any new product launches including publications, training, technical documentation, and diagnostics. 

Your Impact  

• Support the back-office team in resolving complex customer and dealer issues by engaging cross-functional AGCO teams, including Engineering, IT, and Product Owners, to prioritize and resolve technology challenges.  

• Manage product support programs, including definition, deployment, and achievement of PPR/PCR targets for Time to Identify and Time to Upgrade.  

• Create and maintain technical documentation, such as Service Bulletins and Knowledge Objects, and ensure timely communication of product issues and resolution status to markets.  

• Collaborate on New Product Introductions to identify training needs, approve technical publications, and define support requirements; assist the AGCO Product Integrity team with product concern resolution initiatives.  

• Drive dealer and customer engagement to ensure proper issue of nomination within the product concern resolution process.

 Your Experience and Qualifications 

• Experience & Skills: 2–5 years in a technical problem-solving role within Customer Support; fluent in English with excellent communication (written and verbal), influencing, and negotiation skills across all levels.  

• Technical Expertise: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; solid understanding of agricultural machinery, dealer service technician environments, and precision farming products, including related technologies.  

• Stakeholder Management: Proven experience in internal and external stakeholder negotiations within complex projects and systems; ability to multitask and work effectively across diverse cultures and personalities.  

• Performance & Adaptability: Farmer-first focus; ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks for efficiency, and meet targets such as PPR/PCR Time to Identify and Time to Upgrade.  

• Industry Knowledge: Good knowledge of agricultural machinery and precision farming products; engagement in new product introductions to identify training needs, approve technical publications, and define support requirements.
