This position is responsible for the design, implementation, and support of network security solutions across the organization. The ideal candidate is a skilled and proactive Network Firewall Specialist/Engineer with deep expertise in Palo Alto Networks technologies, capable of leading firewall implementations, driving network segmentation initiatives, and managing daily firewall operations in coordination with our Managed Service Provider (MSP).
Your Impact
Firewall & Network Security Operations
Implement Palo Alto firewall solutions, including policy design, rule optimization, and enterprise-wide deployment. Lead network segmentation projects aligned with security best practices and business requirements. Ensure the overall health and performance of network security infrastructure. Administer and support security and threat monitoring systems. Implement and manage VPN and remote access solutions. Monitor and secure systems in accordance with industry standards and internal policies. Diagnose and resolve complex network security issues.
Architecture & Design
Assist in designing enterprise-level technical infrastructure solutions.
Provide technical consulting on complex projects across network, security, and telecommunications domains. Apply industry-standard design, implementation, and maintenance practices, including documentation. Collaborate with network managers to define and execute phased architecture plans. Maintain up-to-date network and security documentation.
Project & Vendor Coordination
Participate in or lead assigned infrastructure and security projects.
Provide task breakdowns, time estimates, and resource recommendations. Coordinate with vendors for equipment requisition, scheduling, and installation.
Support & Monitoring
Resolve Tier II and Tier III support tickets related to network security.
Collaborate across teams and with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Monitor and analyze network security infrastructure performance. Develop usage of metrics to anticipate future infrastructure needs.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls, including Panorama. Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, VPNs, and security zones. Experience with network segmentation strategies and implementation. In-depth knowledge of network security operations, including UTM firewalls and IDS/IPS. Experience with Remote Access VPNs, IPSEC, PKI, SSL, TCP/IP, and authentication protocols (LDAP, RADIUS). Experience with certificate management. Strong proficiency in TCP/IP, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), and network design. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Advanced English proficiency for collaboration with global teams and external partners.

Your Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Security, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in network security. Experience in large enterprise or manufacturing environments.
Certifications Preferred: Palo Alto certifications (e.g., Next-Generation Firewall Engineer, Network Security Engineer) and Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNP Security, CCIE Security). Relevant certifications: Cisco CCNP, Palo Alto PCNSE, CISSP, CISM. Working knowledge of Palo Alto and Cisco Next-Gen Firewalls, Cisco ISE, F5 load balancers, SD-WAN solutions, and Prisma Access.
Familiarity with SASE, Prisma Access, and SD-WAN architecture.
Cloud & Advanced Solutions: Experience implementing solutions in public cloud IaaS/PaaS environments. Understanding modern security frameworks and architectures.
