     IT Business Analyst II – Dealer Management Systems


Job Summary

The IT Business Analyst II (DMS Integration) is an integral part of the Product Teams in the Agile Software Delivery Process. The IT Business Analyst II enriches the team in the areas of Dealer Integration Strategy, Requirements Engineering, Continuous Testing and Production Support.

Responsibilities include supporting the IT Project Manager with the coordination and completion of projects together with tasks such as ensuring buy-in from project stakeholders and process owners. The role leads the effort to analyse, validate and document the business and system requirements acting as a key liaison/engagement role between the AGCO business and IT support functions.  This role encompasses systems and data related activities as well as business.  These responsibilities include providing support for project work, ongoing day-to-day operational needs (maintenance, fixes, enhancements, releases and small change requests) and performing data analysis.


Job Function and Responsibilities


  • Refinement of User Stories and Features
  • Methodical support in generating ideas with Product Owners and Subject Matter Experts
  • Determination, documentation, checking & co-ordination, and management of requirements
  • Definition of acceptance criteria
  • Definition of the integration points with other systems and communication of the effects of possible system changes in co-operation with other teams
  • Contribution to the definition of wireframes and visual designs where applicable
  • Support of the global development teams in clarifying requirements
  • Visual representation of business processes
  • Support in estimating efforts for new developments and improvements
  • Knowledge transfer for new and changed functions for the change management process
    Continuous Testing
  • Quality assurance of the implementation of technical and functional requirements  


Problem Solving Skills Needed

This role encompasses aligning with DCX vision, IT architecture and external Dealer networks. So, there is a very broad level of understanding and aligning required across many stakeholders with differing views.  Hence a high level of emotional intelligence linked to complex problem solving, particularly root cause analysis and understanding is required.


Essential Skills

  • Proven Business Analyst experience
  • Understanding of open API technologies (e.g. MuleSoft)  is an advantage
  • Knowledge of agile methods (e.g. SAFe) is an advantage
  • Strong written and spoken communication / interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with multiple levels of IT and business stakeholders
  • Successfully influences diverse groups and teams in a complex, ambiguous and rapidly changing environment to deliver value-added solutions
  • Effective working relationship with the business to ensure business requirements are accurately captured, agreed and accepted
  • Bachelor`s / Master`s degree in computer science, IT, engineering or equivalent education
