Field Service Specialist, Eastern Europe

Field Service Specialist role is dedicated to ensure that all AGCO core or banded products are supported technically with superior customer service. This position provides field technical assistance on service related matters, trains and support distributors in areas of problem research/resolution as when required.


This Role Will Be Responsible Of:

Time on teritory / Field Service visits / Field Technical Support duties. interface with Regional Technical Help Desk team:

  • technical issues resolution / communication using AGCO SalesForce system.
  • train and coach distribution service staff,
  • resolve / escalate problems which could include Technical , Financial, Warranty, HR, Legal and Commercial,
  • effective communication of technical productinformation to relevant audience groups,
  • collect and analyze data relating to AGCO product failures via service problem reports,
  • track, follow up and report specific issues on teritory,
  • RP competion (Technical input and support),

Interface with Regional Service Managers:

  • tracking key service issues,
  • tracking and follow up of specific programs throughout the distribution network,

Product / Distribution quality:

  • audit new products when delivered to the distributor, follow through with check of distributor PDI and instalation techniques,
  • new product introduction,

Special projects:

  • where opportunities arise be actively involved in business improvement programs.


What You Will Bring:

  • Agricultural engineering apprenticeship/HND.
  • 3-5 years of Ag. Technical Service experience. 
  • High-level PC expertise. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint intermediate.
  • AGCO systems knowledge is a plus.
  • High level of mechanical, hydraulic and electronic understanding.
  • A comprehensive technical knowledge of Ag. Machines, guidance technologies & AGCO products.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of the importance of customer care.
  • Ability to travel frequently.
  • Valid driving license.
  • English language written and spoken.
