The purpose of this position is battery management system development for state-of-the-art battery packs used in off-road machinery. Position holder defines Battery Management System (BMS) hardware specification and control system architecture. A person is also responsible for software development for BMS and will work with other tasks related to electrification. Work requires seamless co-operation with suppliers, customers and internal development people. 

Your Impact: 

• Take responsibility for whole BMS development. Define BMS hardware. which is used in batteries of AGCO and AGCO Power customer machines based on customer and vehicle requirements  

• Define software requirements for BMS systema.Define control system architecture for BMS system  

• Define Functional Safety requirements and other required protection functionalities  

• Setup test plan for BMS software tests and carry out software validation for BMS.Communication with internal partners  

• Communication with external partners, i.e., suppliers, development partners, and customers. 

Your Experience and Qualification: 

• Electrical or software engineering degree. Good understanding of electronics, software and embedded systems are required.   

• Good knowledge of control systems is also required. Good communication and social skills.  

• Knowledge of MATLAB Simulink and E3. series are beneficial.  

• Good understanding of battery related standards, FuSa and AutoSAR.  

• Few years work experience in the field of battery development or similar is beneficial.
