NPI Quality Lead


What You Will do

As NPI Quality Lead you will act as an ambassador of customer satisfaction in the project team. NPI Lead is point-of-contact for all matters relating to Quality on the assigned project, providing input, guidance and support to the Project Team in order to ensure a consistent quality mindset and process adherence to ensure the successful launch of a new, high quality product in the market. Your role will focus on failure prevention as well as minimizing the risk of associated costs to fix issues once the product is launched (internal rework, material scrap, warranty, field campaigns, loss of businesses, etc.). By focusing on defect prevention, maturity level management, readiness transparency and effective teamwork you will ensure quality target achievement throughout the project. You will be responsible for developing sustainable, quality focused processes for new product development, including tracking systems to support maturity level reporting and decision making.

Your skills 

  • Quality assurance, advanced product quality planning (APQP) or product development background.
  • Understanding of semi-automated manufacturing environments
  • Experience in facilitation or leading projects/initiatives
  • Experience as new product introduction team leader or team member, preferably in the same or similar industry.
  • Fluent English and Finnish, other languages are an advantage
  • Great teamwork skills
  • Adding customer value drives your motivation


A Plus if you have

  • Knowledge and experience of IATF 16949 implementation
  • Experience in solving complex problems in cross-functional and multi-cultural teams
  • Experience with virtual builds, simulation, product validation and agriculture background are a plus.
