The Field Technical Manager, Harvesting, is responsible for maintaining and improving customer satisfaction among AGCO product owners by providing hands-on technical support to the dealer network and supporting service development activities. This role acts as a key link between dealers, sales, and internal support functions, ensuring efficient issue resolution and strong product understanding.
The position combines field-based and remote technical support, enabling effective problem diagnosis, escalation, and resolution. In addition, the role supports AGCO brands from a technical perspective, contributing to customer acquisition, retention, and market share growth.
A key focus of the role is to drive a proactive support model by strengthening dealer capability, promoting knowledge sharing, and ensuring high-quality technical service delivery across all AGCO products.
Your Impact:
- Technical Support & Field Operations Provide technical support to dealers (on-site, by phone, THD, TechConnect) in the assigned area, including FUSE and digital products
Diagnose, analyse, and resolve technical issues, including applying parameters and specifications where required - Customer Satisfaction & Issue Management Maintain and improve customer satisfaction by resolving technical and product performance issues. Support customer loyalty activities, including dealer support during customer and complaint discussions (in cooperation with the dealer)
- Dealer Support & Capability Development Promote and ensure high service quality and repair independence within the dealer network
- Support information sharing to improve dealer independence in resolving technical cases
- Training & Coaching Promote the importance of technical training within the dealer network
Encourage dealer participation in training programs Warranty, Campaigns & Compliance Support policy and warranty handling in line with AGCO procedures. Assist in the investigation of complex warranty and policy cases - Digital & Product Support Promote AGCO Connect activation and utilization within the dealer network Support Parts THD and digital off-board activities Cross-functional Support & Additional Duties Work closely with Area Sales Managers and Commercial After Sales Managers Support Sales and Marketing activities, including events, trade fairs, exhibitions, and stand service.
Your Experience and Qualification:
- 3-5 years' Experience in Strong technical knowledge of agricultural machinery and its operation, including harvesting machines.
- Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering.
- Fluent in Spanish and English Communicative. Good computer literacy, including confident use of MS Office and ability to work with multiple systems.
- Soft Skills / Behavioral Competencies. Strong communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to interact effectively with different stakeholders.
- Good presentation, coaching, influencing, and negotiating skills. Customer-focused mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach. Team-oriented, flexible working style with strong interpersonal skills.

This role follows AGCO’s onsite work model, with employees primarily working from an AGCO location/dealership for a minimum of 4 days per week to support collaboration and teamwork.
