Job Summary

IT Manager - Global Material Logistics and Warehouse Management is responsible for providing a single point of accountability to deliver IT solutions/services, provides people leadership on IT engagement processes, provides thought leadership on strategic direction (business & IT), and provides results leadership that ensures successful delivery of IT solutions & services (including support). The position drives business transformations leveraging ERP SAP and other leading applications in business functions of Logistics and Warehouse Management. This position covers Logistics and Warehouse Management systems and processes across all AGCO business segments including Wholegoods, Aftersales and Grain& Protein.

 

What You Will Do

  • Lead a team of resources (internal and consultants) as direct and matrix reporting relationships in project delivery and support environments.

  • Actively drives business collaboration, contributes as a stakeholder to long-living, maintainable, high-quality relationship with AGCO Businesses.
  • Work and lead in multiple geographies, ensuring processes are implemented, enhanced, and supported and aligned with both IT and business leaders’ requirements and expectations within the defined functional stream
  • Build action plans and makes operational decisions on policies, tactics, and resources critical to the function’s business success to ensure delivery against strategy of the function or team.
  • Lead execution of tasks to achieve scope, schedule, financial, and quality commitments.
  • Lead the assessment of the technical and economic recommendations based on industry trends, internal benchmarking, and vendor relationships.
  • Engage resources and contribute to establishing service metrics and monitoring the system for performance, availability, resource productivity, quality of deliverables, service, and license management.
  • Review quality of work and manage integration of team members’ work.
  • Ensure individual and team compliance with all AGCO policies and procedures including Sarbanes Oxley, IT and Security.  Follow established governance processes and standards.               

 

What You Will Bring 

  • Deep expertise and experience in business transformations leveraging ERP SAP and other leading applications in business functions of Logistics and Warehouse Management.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience in supporting opportunity and business case development, business process re-engineering, organizational change management, transition planning, system development lifecycles, program/project management and fielding of business applications in a large-scale enterprise with complex organizational and IT structures.
  • Advanced knowledge of the following:
    • How to link business processes to enterprise strategy
    • IT industry best practices as well as technical trends and patterns for potential business requirements.
  • Detailed knowledge of the following:
    • Working with technology vendors and offshore development teams in the delivery of enterprise solutions
    • IT Change Management Process
    • Project Management
  • Previous experience with ERP, and other large system deployment is a plus
