As a Junior Design Engineer for Power Supply, your primary role would involve designing and developing efficient and reliable engine installation for various applications. You would be responsible for design and development, creating detailed specifications, and using CAD software to create 2D and 3D models. Additionally, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, materials scientists, and manufacturing experts, to ensure the product performance, durability, and safety meet industry standards. Your expertise will be vital in optimizing performance, reducing emissions, and implementing innovative technologies to enhance fuel efficiency and overall functionality.  Continuous evaluation of prototypes, conducting simulations, and performing testing procedures will also be part of your responsibilities to ensure the successful development and integration of engine installation into various products and systems. 
 

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of engine installation mechanics and thermodynamics are crucial for excelling in this role.

The main scope will be Engine Installation, Fuel System, Front End Accessory Drive, Air System, Cooling System and Exhaust System application and validation, Continuous improvement and Cost reduction initiatives.

 

Your Impact

  • The professional will be responsible for conducting the development process in engineering projects and the projects of your responsibility will be in the main systems Engine Installation System
  • Lead critical projects according to engineering strategy, timing and costs; - Apply all the design best practices during development phase; Identify / validate / implement cost reduction opportunities;
  • Ensure that all the engineering procedures and best practices have been accomplished before the drawing release and that we have technical synergy with other Design Engineering teams - AGCO and/or Suppliers;
  • Release and review 3D models designs as 2D drawings and prepare production release documentation, support prototype acquisition and prototype assembly.
  • Analysis and correction of problems using the correct approach and methodology

 

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering preferred
  • Experience with Engineering Development and Product Validation in Metallurgical, Automotive or Agribusiness industries.
  • Experience in technical drawings and GD & T
  • Great experience in 3D software, such as ProE, Creo, Catia, NX or others in product design development
  • English, written & spoken presentation skills
