Job Summary

Responsible for leading Product Cost Optimization (PCO) initiatives driving the lifecycle of cost reduction activities – from business case approval to implementation – ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

The Buyer for PCO collaborates with cross-functional teams while establishing strong stakeholder relationships to ensure the best-in class execution of category priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with category teams to define strategies and conduct PCO projects, contributing to long-term sourcing strategies.
  • Manage timelines, milestones, and deliverables for cost reduction projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Update CAPEX/ Project Expenses during budget and its reviews related to specific categories.
  • Conduct team meetings with internal and external stakeholders to ensure processes and projects are on track.
  • Ensure all cost reduction activities are properly documented in existing systems and comply with internal policies and processes.

 

Experience and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Related Field   
  • Required a minimum of 2 years of experience in PCO management, strategic sourcing, or procurement.
  • Good MS Excel skills and general IT literacy
  • Good project management, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional and multicultural environment, collaborating with stakeholders from different departments and regions across the globe.
