Design Engineer - Electrical

AGCO is currently seeking a Design Engineer – Electrical to join our team. The Design Engineer – Electrical will play a key part in designing and developing moderately complex electrical systems for release to production. The Design Engineer – Electrical will ensure superior product performance, durability, reliability, quality, and serviceability to the worldwide marketing place.

Job Summary

The Design Engineer – Electrical will play a key part in designing and developing moderately complex electrical systems for release to production. This professional will ensure superior product performance, durability, reliability, quality, and serviceability to the worldwide marketing place.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceive moderately complex electrical product designs, and prepare system and subsystem layouts, by using a computer graphics system
• Make design calculations, decisions, and do the necessary load analysis and computer simulations via Creo and E3
• Work closely with test engineers, technicians, plant personnel, and suppliers regarding product design, test, and production schedule dates
• Provide guidance to multiple departments, including Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, Marketing, Sales, as well as Customer Service

Experience and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with a 3.0 GPA or higher
• Experience in the agricultural industry or with agricultural equipment
• 3D CAD experience
• Creo experience
• Schematic experience
• Mechanical exposure
