We are looking for a Global Validation Engineer, South America and Global Planters, for the global validation team. The global validation team in AGCO is a new team being set up to ensure the delivery of our Farmer First strategy by defining a global strategy for validation, standardization and consistency of our validation and testing activities across our product lines and engineering sites, as well as implementation of the global processes across our tractor engineering sites across the world.

Your Impact

• Participate in the activities of creating the global validation & testing standards & guidelines in collaboration with the local site validation teams, especially providing input in the South American requirements to all global product lines.
• Drive consistency in all validation & testing standards, methods, reporting and activities across our product lines & sites.
• Continuously seek opportunities to create better, faster and lower-cost validation & verification processes, including new emerging technologies, to ensure the delivery of high quality and reliable products to the farmers. Continuously explore best practices within AGCO, but also across the industry to improve AGCO validation standards.
• Present strategies to the site validation leads and act as an internal trainer to the validation teams globally.
• Oversee the validation activities in South America, and planter validation activities globally. Ensure implementation of the global guidelines in all validation operations.

Your Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees in Agricultural, Automotive, Electrical, Mechanical or other relevant engineering. 
• Experience in validation, project management and/or design engineering, with technical competence and experience to drive the tasks.
• Passion for quality and continuous improvement, interest in new emerging technologies in the field of validation & verification.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to create and present clear documentation and instructions fluently in English, Portugues.
• Experience with tractors and agricultural equipment, or other heavy equipment, especially in validation, is beneficial.
