The Program Leader/NPI will be responsible for managing procurement activities related to the development of new NPI projects. This role ensures timely delivery, cost efficiency, and quality compliance throughout the product development.

This position plays a key role in project management within the procurement function, coordinating activities, tracking milestones, and ensuring alignment with cross-functional teams and project timelines. The lead will act as a procurement project leader, driving execution and proactively managing risks and opportunities.

 

Your Impact

• Define sourcing strategies for new projects, balancing cost efficiency with investment requirements;

• Aligning achievable procurement timeline with company and project needs;

• Lead procurement activities for components related to new product developments;

• Manage and follow up the sourcing execution with category buyers aligned with project milestones and cost targets;

• Represent the procurement team in project governance meetings, providing updates on sourcing status, risks, and mitigation plans;

• Create and manage procurement plans, detailing deliverables and timelines;

• Monitor and report on procurement KPIs related to NPI projects (e.g., cost savings, on-time delivery, tooling investments, supplier readiness);

• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Planning to ensure supplier alignment with technical and operational requirements;

• Lead procurement-related risk assessments and develop contingency plans;

Ensure procurement documentation and reporting are accurate and aligned with project governance.

 

Your Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (recommended), Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field;

• Fluency in English (both written and verbal);

• Excellent MS Excel skills and general IT literacy;

• Strong project management skills, with experience in planning, tracking, and cross-functional coordination, ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results;

• Familiarity with agricultural machinery components, especially systems, is a plus;

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders;

Ability to work in a cross-functional and regional environment, collaborating with stakeholders across different departments and cultures.
