Your impact
The Project Coordinator will play an instrumental role in managing and overseeing various engineering projects, focused on tractor systems on a global scale. With a commitment to a "Farmer First" mindset, this role is dedicated to exceeding farmer expectations by coordinating activities associated with the development, maintenance, and validation of engineering solutions. This involves collaboration with a cross-functional team, from project inception through to implementation of final solutions.
Your experience and qualifications
- Global Coordination: Oversee and coordinate engineering activities across multiple sites, ensuring alignment and effective communication between teams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Suppliers to enhance component optimization using design for manufacturability and assembly methodologies.
- Project Planning: Prepare development plans and be responsible for meeting scheduled dates.
- Budget Management: Estimate project expenses and capital budgets for project maintenance.
- Validation and Technical Requirements: Define technical and validation requirements to meet cost and reliability targets.
- Problem Solving: Evaluate, define, and resolve design and manufacturing problems using technical expertise.
- Travel to domestic and international sites, dealers, and customer locations to troubleshoot design issues and evaluate potential project improvements.
- Cost Optimization: Manage product cost optimization initiatives aimed at maximizing return on investment for customers while optimizing company profit margins.
- Mechanical, Ag, or Mechatronic Engineering Bachelor's Degree;
- Consolidated engineering experience in product development environment to gain mastery of complex engineering and manufacturability concepts;
- Fluency in English (mandatory);
- Desirable knowledge in agricultural products, in particular tractors.
