What we are looking for:
The engineer will be responsible for supporting field test validation for all AGCO Brands agricultural tractors, to ensure industry leading customer satisfaction. Will be responsible for leveraging the quality of validation field test reports through analytical tools such as 8D, DFMEA, DVP&R, FTA, helping to plan and execute field evaluations, as well as structuring, tracking and reporting field issues, to search the solution. Identify customer needs, propose improvements to the product. Contribute to the field test validation process following the AGCO global standards. Being part of a team working together towards a single goal, delivering field test performance according to the project plan. Technically support leadership for team development. In this role, he will be responsible for integrating the field test team with the modules, to ensure the quality of the development and deliverables.
What are you going to do:
- Provides technical support to the team during field testing of prototypes;
- Advise on preventative maintenance and product configurations to improve performance and ultimately customer satisfaction;
- Promotes and maintains the image of AGCO products with customers;
- Reporting results weekly via technical reports and also via Agco's validation team, reporting validation status (field test hours) and documenting negative issues/events, as well as resolving these issues;
- Attending intersite project meetings (global);
- Follow the project cycle, contributing to the interface of product engineering and other areas, such as purchasing, manufacturing, logistics, finance and apparel, as needed;
- Monitor the release of prototypes and validation tests to meet the project milestones and requirements;
- Maintain documentation associated with engineering tests requests;
- Organize and facilitate reviews of test plans, durability and related activities.
What do you need:
- Bachelor’s Degree: Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical, Production or Agricultural Engineering;
- Be familiar with automotive or tractors environment projects;
- Experience with product development;
- Advanced English: reading and writing with proficiency, and able to participate in meetings, understanding the main points and being able to communicate effectively;
- Proficiency using Excel and Power Point;
- Good planning and organizing skills.
