About the Job: 

This position will provide HR support and guidance to our Morton, IL facility.  Our Morton facility is a production, shipping, & receiving warehouse.    



  • Provide HR support and guidance to the business; answering employee and manager questions about HR programs, policies, and other HR-related items.  
  • Advise on employee performance and help supervisors with performance related issues.
  • Provide support to employees in various HR topics such as leave management and benefits.  
  • Ensure adequate training in the areas of new employee orientation, safety training, leadership training, etc.  
  • Manage record keeping of all employee files.  
  • Generate and provide reports to the HR Manager.  
  • Staff the site during peak hiring season. 


Minimum Qualifications:  

  • A bachelor's degree and two to five years of HR experience.  

  • Strong interpersonal relations skills  

  • Strong communication skills  

  • Detail oriented  

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • HR Certified Professional: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or must willing to obtain a certification.  

  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration and influence.  

  • Experience coaching and mentoring others  

  • Prior training and knowledge in employment law issues   

  • Bilingual
