About the Role:

Precision Planting is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as an Order Management Analyst with a high degree of knowledge in the shipping field and expertise in specific shipping areas. This is an exciting and challenging role that allows you to apply your experience in the shipping field and specifically in analyzing order processing and customer relations.


What would I be doing?

  • Review open orders and allocate accordingly to send orders to the warehouse
  • 1st line in remediating order and shipping issues with the sales team
  • Monitor and manage orders in Scale and prioritize as needed
  • Monitor CPU’s for aging dates and coordinate with the SSA’s to determine proper disposition
  • Complete end of day activities
  • Maintain contact with the sales team on product delivery and requirements
  • Communicate with manufacturing, inventory control, warehouse, and quality control to ensure product availability and compliance
  • Communicate with Freight Forwarders for International shipments
  • Maintain and monitor spreadsheets for domestic and international orders
  • Aid in processing documents when required
  • Communicate to Customer Service and Regional Managers the status of order ship dates
  • Respond to customer concerns through the sales support team
  • Participate in lean concepts and meetings
  • Evaluate process improvements and software update testing in Scale
  • Collaborate with colleagues via face to face, conference calls, and online meetings
  • Must be able to lift 50# and be willing to work in other areas of the warehouse as needed
  • Work with R&D with special projects to facilitate outbound product movement
  • Liaison between Shipping, Purchasing, Sales and Accounting concerning any issues or questions


What must I have?

  • GED or Equivalent/High School Diploma
  • 3+ years working in a customer service or supply chain environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of products
  • Experience working with WMS software
  • Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines


What other specific skills & experiences would be good for me to have?

  • Advanced degree in Sales, Warehousing, Supply Chain
  • Experience in GP and Scale
