About the Role:

 

What would I be doing?

 

  • Work closely with the Sales team and assist in order prioritizing.
  • Work with other departments such as Sales, Manufacturing, and the Warehouse.             
  • to coordinate available inventory with the releasing of orders.
  • Utilize the WMS to allocate orders and routing with correct shipping methods.
  • Identify opportunities for lean improvement in order processing.
  • Monitor workflow on the shipping floor and release orders accordingly.
  • Monitor planned order dates, complete and incomplete order statuses and release accordingly.
  • Regularly briefs leadership on the status of orders to be processed and in process.
  • Participate in lean concepts and meetings.
  • Must be able to lift 50# and willing to work in other areas of the warehouse as needed.

 

What must I have?

 

  • Candidate must possess at least a GED or Equivalent/High School Diploma.
  • Customer service, communication, order management, order processing, problem solving.
  • Self-driven and ability to work independently and stay focused.
  • Ability to communicate to all levels within an organization.
  • Strong customer service ethic s and ability to be empathetic and accept ownership.

 

What other specific skills & experiences would be good for me to have?

 

  • Advanced education or 2 years’ experience in sales, warehousing, or marketing. 
  • Strong understanding of the order management process in GP and Scale.
  • Strong understanding of WMS systems and processes.
