The Business Manager is ensuring the economic success of the full line in the assigned market, active interface to the distribution partner, trusted with leadership responsibility.


This Role Will Be Responsible Of


1.Ensuring the economic success of the full line in the assigned market

  • Initiation, planning and implementation of actions to achieve volume, coverage & conversion, gross sales and discount targets for the offered FENDT product and service portfolio on dealer / importer level in the area of responsibility.
  • Implementation of yearly sales agreements, marketing and dealer action plans at distribution partner level, including monitoring and taking necessary actions in the event of deviations.
  • Introduction of sales campaigns in coordination with the distribution partner and in consultation with the Sales Manager.
  • Analysis and interpretation of provided reports on the market and order situation
  • Provision of Retail managers and product specialists to support the brand image planned by the Regional Retail management (campaigns, trade fairs, events, training, etc.).
  • Taking over escalation cases in case of missing income payments
  • Application of the AGCO CRM system 

2. Active interface to the distribution partner 

  • Active Fendt contact person for dealer management on all topics relating to target setting & achievement as well as the respective deviation management
  • Coaching of the contact persons at the distribution partner for the application of the AGCO CRM system
  • Coordination with Regional Retail Management on topics such as the implementation of campaigns and communication activities

3. Leadership responsibility

  • Professional and disciplinary responsibility for all subordinate Commercial Manager 
  • Disciplinary responsibility for all subordinate Retail Manager, Product Specialists and Dealer Central employees
  • This includes target-oriented and independent task planning, the development, motivation and assessment of team members
  • Creation and coordination of framework conditions for the effective and efficient achievement of objectives
  • First escalation stage in case of discrepancies between Commercial and Retail Managers


What You Will Bring


  • Completed relevant studies and several years of professional and management experience 
  • Good general understanding of both: agriculture and agricultural machinery and its application in the field
  • Strong communication and Fluent English skills, German is also welcome
  • Very good negotiation skills, pronounced strategic and entrepreneurial thinking
  • Ability to motivate and coaching our sales team 
  • Readiness for several - day business trips, driving license class B / class 3
  • Secure handling of MS - Office ( Excel , Outlook, Word )
