IT Support Technician

AGCO is seeking a talented, passionate, and highly motivated professional to join the IT team as an IT Support Technician in Paris, IL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for local IT requests and maintaining systems as part of global managed services. This will include tracking incidents, IT requests and system changes. The ideal candidate will act as an intermediary between local corporate requests, requests from global IT services and those from employees. Main activities will include, but will not be limited to, office, factory, server hosting, network and telephony IT support.

Your Impact

• Process tickets as part of 2nd level support and support critical systems for production (2nd level - hardware, operating system)
• Install and configure workstations and computer peripherals and install, integrate, and configure operating systems, standard and custom software.
• Maintain servers, network devices, workstations, desktops, laptops, and related IT equipment in compliance with global IT service policies.
• Record and document IT support cases in the ticketing system and establish and maintain work instructions and procedures.
• Manage site IT operations in accordance with global IT service governance and strategy.
• Locally support global IT projects and coordinate between different IT teams and be the point of contact for local user complaints and needs.

Your Experience and Qualifications

• College degree in computer science, support, network, system or other relevant training related to the position
• Minimum of 3 years of first- or second-line IT support experience.
• Experience with O365, Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Server OS, Computer Networking, and server and storage hardware
• Knowledge of SQL databases, cloud computing environments, and manufacturing workflows
