As the Tool Crib Attendant, you will be responsible for performing computer transactions, receiving, checking, stocking, disbursing and delivery of production, maintenance, and related items processed through the Tool Crib.

Your Impact

  • Receive and check-in materials, verifying that the proper items and quantities are received and recorded
  • Put material in stock and maintain storage areas
  • Cycle count material as required
  • Locate, pick, count, and disburse requested parts and materials
  • At times, deliver parts and materials to specific locations as assigned
  • As required, perform the necessary searches on material inventories and work order systems, perform on-line computer entry of adjustments, issues
  • As required, operate fork truck, tugger, hand trucks, etc. to pick up and deliver material
  • Operate lifting devices, cranes/hoists, etc to safely handle large heavy parts
  • Purchase machine parts and supplies for production needs
  • Complete required documentation necessary to maintain accurate inventory
  • Maintain accurate Tool Crib inventory levels of all parts and supplies
  • Work with vendors on purchasing machine parts and supplies
  • Clean and organize Tool Crib
  • Measure, understand, act on and report quality and operations information.  Understand, act on and communicate internal and external customer requirements and organization goals
  • Set-up new tool crib parts as necessary with management approvals
  • Assist co-workers as required


Your Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED required with training in computer software
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Detail focused with ability to multitask and manage conflicting priorities

Additional Details

No travel is anticipated for this role.


  • Able to work in outside climates hot/humid during summer months / cool during winter months
  • Able to stand for hours at a time
  • Able to lift material between 25-50 lbs
