The Dealer Development Manager is responsible for the long-term dealer network vision through studying the markets, identifying potential opportunities, growing the existing dealers’ business, and appointing new dealers in coordination with the Regional Managers.

 

Qué tareas realizará

 

  • Put together solutions and tools that enable dealers to manage their business more effectively by evaluating the top issues limiting dealership growth.
    • These may include developing financial tools for dealers/customers, recommended stocking levels, developing dealer service plans, etc.
  • Coordinate processes and improvements to new dealer on-boarding by developing recruitment, training, and performance tracking tools.
    • Work in concert with the Regional Sales Manager and the Dealer Development Team to ensure that the dealer is developing in all crucial business areas.
  • Coordinate the development of training focused on dealer selling skills and dealer operations and determine the optimal way to deliver this training.
    • Support dealer events with planning, strategy, and follow up.
  • Pursue opportunities for sales process improvements in areas such as lead generation, lead tracking, quoting, ordering, delivery...
    • Help key stakeholders understand process bottlenecks that slow the distribution channel down.
  • Work with channel partners to effectively administer value-added programs to grow Precision Planting dealer’s businesses.
  • Be knowledgeable on our products, markets, dealers, and our sales team
    • Use that knowledge to identify and drive improvements in our sales strategy.

 

Lo que aportará

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences discipline or related field
  • 5+ year of experience in supporting precision agriculture products
  • Dealership experience (sales, parts, or service) is beneficial
  • High standard of Spanish and English language and grammar is essential for written communications and presentations
  • Other language skills are beneficial
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, G-mail, & Google docs.
  • Strong organization & interpersonal skills
  • Accomplished communication capabilities (spoken and written) to communicate and present to large groups.
  • Strong work ethic be highly motivated with strong customer focus and a desire to achieve results
  • Flexible to adapt as priorities change

 

Condiciones:

 

  • Travel to dealer locations, farm shows, and other events is required and varies by territory.
  • Travel can range from 25% to 50% based on the season.
